Wall Street Went Down 4 Days Consecutively

The world's largest stock exchange, Wall Street, closed lower again. This attenuation occurs in four consecutive days.

In trading Wednesday (2/9/2009) local time, Dow Jones fell 29.93 points, or 0.3 percent to 9280.67 position, or down 400 points (3.1 percent) in four days.

Index S & P 500 fell 3.29 points, or 0.3 percent to 994.75 and the position of Nasdaq index fell 1.82 points, or 0.1 percent to 1967.07.

Bearish sentiment continues to dominate the market at the moment when the index failed to record an increase that should have been achieved easily yesterday.

World Trade Volume Minus 12.2 percent

Global economic contraction this year is estimated to cause the growth of world trade volume reached minus 12.2 percent.

"Conditions were difficult for exporters, exacerbated by the level of trust of financial institutions that have not recovered to the industry, especially in export-oriented, so the availability of financing factors often become obstacles encountered by Indonesian exporters," said Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, in his speech opening on Operationalization of Indonesia Exim Bank, in Building E, Ministry of Finance, Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta, Tuesday (1/9/2009).

Some investors again worried about the condition of the economy, this negative impact affected transactions on Wall Street at the end of August.

All three major indexes in The United States (U.S.) in trading Monday (31/8/2009) local time, fell down after China fluctuated in the range of selling arena. Thus triggering concerns that the index has been moving too fast and too high. The decline in China's major index reached 6.7 percent.

September is the worst month in the last 80 years for capital markets, and this begins with the analysts concerns on the actions of investors who are too quick to conclude the economic situation.

The decrease in the index on Monday local time yesterdaywas driven by the decline in shares of energy and materials sectors as commodity and copper prices fell down.

The sentiment caused the Dow Jones index closed down 47.92 points, or equivalent to 0.5 percent to become 9496.38, while the S&P 500 fell 8.31 points, equivalent to 0.8 percent to 1020.62, and the Nasdaq index down 19.71 points equivalent to one percent to 2009.06

Indian Economy Is Growing Well

Indian economy on Second-quarter 2009 grew 6.1 percent, up from the previous period, was 5.8 persen.This increase is triggered by government's stimulus.

Data issued by the Indian Central Statistics Organization (CSO) yesterday in line with analysts' forecasts that predict economic growth of India in the range of 6 percent. Even when compared to a year on year, Second-quarter growth in 2009 reached 7.8 percent compared to the last year. Indian Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has predicted that economic growth will reach the range of "6 percent plus" for the fiscal year ended March 2010.It is expected that it will be better than last year that grew only 6.7 percent.

United States President Barack Obama delivered a word of praise for Senator Edward Kennedy, Saturday (29 / 8) local time, as the fighter of the poor and marginalized, not broken by the tragedy that tore mercilessly for his political clan.
