According to the report by security experts Darya Gudkova, Elene Bondarenko, and Maria Namestnikova, phishing in social networking websites have increased significantly. Facebook becomes one of the most popular media targeted by phishing makers. The percentage of phishing emails in the first quarter of 2010 was reached 5.7% of total attacks in the entire email. The report also mentions the biggest source of spam still comes from the United States. The countery of The President Obama has spread spam levels by 16%, followed by India with 7% and Tussian 6%.
